I recently shot some photos for a cafe/restaurant right in the city center, Daylesford Organic. It’s a wonderful place to go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you are in the Marienplatz area. So to continue my list of great quaint cafes in Munich, this is one to not pass up.
Luckily I was able to try a few of the items on the menu after photographing them, and everything is completely organic and delicious! Thier menu items depend on the seasonal and local goods so there is always something new to try. Their daily salads are really fresh and tasty along with the chocolate cake, which is amazing so make sure to save room for it! (both items pictured below)
The atmosphere is quite cozy and there are lots of places with great light to sit and read or meet with friends. They also offer free wifi if you are needing to get some work done. The location is perfect if you are walking around Marienplatz or Viktualienmarkt and even though it’s in a busy area, the restaurant is fairly large and it’s not as difficult to get a seat as some of the other small cafes. If you want to be sure to get a certain spot though, go ahead and reserve a table ahead of time.
So whether your just visiting Munich or a local, make sure to check out this cafe while your in the city, you will certainly not be disappointed. The food is great along with the friendly staff and owners. I will definitely be going back for Saturday brunch soon!
