If your looking for a tucked away spot to spend your Florida vacation, maybe you should consider Pass-a-grille. Located on the Gulf side of the state, an island just off St. Pete, you will find a one block wide and a few miles long stretch of pure Florida heaven. Nestled between long, white sandy Gulf beaches on one side and the Boca Ciega Bay on the other, it is probably one of the prettiest spots in the area.
As we planned our trip to the Island of Sao Miguel in the Azores, I found there isn’t a whole lot written about these islands. The main information I found online basically all agreed on one thing, this place is magical. They were right, but in case your like me and like to know more details about where your going, I would love to share with you a few tips I gathered when traveling to this amazing place.
A lot of people (myself included) have never even heard of the Azores. Which was somewhat shocking for me being that they are located right in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, and I fly over them every time I head back to Florida. (Well almost at least) So when my family approached me with the idea of meeting on the island of Sao Miguel this year, I quickly googled the location and was shocked at the stunning images I saw of a place I had never heard of. I couldn’t wait!
It is by far one of my favorite getaways. Key West is about as authentic Florida as you can get, and whether you’ve never been or are a seasonal regular, I hope some of these travel tips will guide you on your visit to the southern most point of the US.
Ahhhhh, Tahiti. The word alone conjures up all sorts of amazing images… deserted beaches, clear turquoise water, colorful fish, and lush forests. I was lucky enough to be able to visit this gem in the South Pacific about two years ago, and the islands of French Polynesia have left a lasting impression on my brain. So for all of you out there who are thinking of visiting Tahiti one day, I thought I would make a little list of tips from my trip, that may help you on yours….
