2011 has been an amazing year. As I look back at the days spent in beautiful parts of the world and wonderful people who I spent them with, I am truly grateful. From an unexpected weekend in Sestri Levante to a romantic roadtrip along the West coast with my husband, this year was absolutely incredible. I’m not certain what 2012 will have in store, but I welcome it with open arms. Hoping to gather lots more tips and travel photographs to share with everyone!
We are spending Thanksgiving this year in Germany, and while the streets are not empty, the stores are not closed, and there is no Macy’s Parade on my television…We are celebrating anyway! I’m very thankful this year for my amazing family and friends scattered all over the globe. I am wishing a very Happy Thanksgiving to everyone back in the states and even those of you living in other countries. After all, it never hurts to be thankful for the people and good things in your life right? =)
Don’t you just love the excitement of going somewhere you’ve never been?? Well, we are finally leaving for our 2 week US Northwest road trip and we couldn’t be happier about it. It was the only time of year we were able to plan a proper trip, so even though we will be missing my favorite time in Munich (Oktoberfest), at least it’s for good reason!
We are off to Seattle today and will be making our way down to San Francisco stopping in lots of amazing spots along the way. I’m hoping to find lots of great material to add to Hidden Travel Treasures…so if you have any tips, let me know! Look forward to posting some new travel tips soon!
